When you receive your fur, hang it up immediately so that it regains its natural shape after transport. This also allows any excess fur to detach naturally.
Absolutely avoid storing it in a garment bag, especially a plastic one, as the fur needs to be able to breathe.
When not in use, store it on a wide (non-metallic) hanger in a cool, dry, and dark place to preserve its color and texture. Do not spray perfume or aerosols directly onto it, as this can damage the fibers.
To maintain its luster, fur requires professional cleaning every 2 to 3 years. A fur specialist will restore its shine and softness by removing impurities caused by air, pollution, or humidity.
If your fur gets wet from rain or snow, let it dry naturally. Never use a hairdryer or any other direct heat source.
